i. Government Advisory and Consultancies
We advise national and County Governments in market research on thematic areas requiring governmental policy intervention, prepare presentations on the research and advice the national and county governments on the policy direction. We provide advisory in policy drafting, regulatory and statutory drafting considering the need and the gaps that need to be filled. We have a pool of non-legal experts who provide multi-disciplinary edge required to deliver on some cross-sectional work. We have drafted Policies, Regulations and Statutes for county and national governments.
ii. Public Procurement and Constitutional Compliance
We have a dedicated team with specialist knowledge and appreciation of both non-contentious and contentious compliance concerns. Our team advises the national, local governments and state organs and parastatals on public procurement concerns. We also represent the procuring entities in any disputes on public procurement that may arise.
iii. Public-Private Partnerships
We have the resources and the sector-know-how to provide comprehensive legal services to enable private companies seeking to provide public services on behalf of government agencies or to partner with the government at the national and county level on complex projects. We provide advisory in all stages of a PPP including bidding, strategy formulation, project financing, negotiations, drafting project documents and application for governmental support, where need be. We assess the most viable PPP Model to curate the strategy, documentation and risk assessment to ensure that the parties to the transaction are protected and their interests balanced. We therefore work closely with other non-legal experts to ensure that all concerns in the PPP Model are addressed from the onset.
